The Lodge
Step into the grand great room, where soaring log beams and a stone fireplace create a true lodge atmosphere. The main sitting area invites conversation and connection around a warm gas fire, while the upstairs loft provides another gathering space complete with a Steinway piano. Guests are welcome to enjoy the piano with respect—its presence elevates evenings into memorable moments.

The large dining hall seats up to 30 guests together, ensuring every meal feels like an occasion. Just off the dining area, the fully equipped kitchen features an industrial Wolf-style range, oversized fridge and freezer, a butler’s pantry with additional cold storage, and ample counter space for meal prep or catering teams.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Sherman Peak Lodge is designed so that nearly every guest has privacy:
11 private suites – each with a king bed and its own ensuite bathroom
1 bunkroom – four queen beds and a private bathroom, leading into the master suite above

In total, the lodge offers 12 bedrooms and 14 full bathrooms, accommodating up to 29 guests in beds, with a maximum group size of 45 guests. While there is ample floor space for mats or air mattresses, guests are encouraged to bring their own if desired.

Outdoor Living
The outdoor experience at Sherman Peak Lodge is as special as the lodge itself. Guests can follow a private trail to a 2,000 sq. ft. mountain pavilion, complete with power, lighting, a grill, smoker, and a stone fire pit, which provides a central spot for roasting marshmallows or telling stories deep into the night. (Fires must remain inside the ring and be fully extinguished, ensuring safety for guests and the surrounding forest.) Trees and open grass surround the private pavilion; it’s an unforgettable space for reunions, retreats, or evening gatherings under the stars.

Seasonal Access
Sherman Peak Lodge is accessible year-round with maintained plowing to the property. During heavy snowstorms, plowing may be delayed, and 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended in winter. Sedans are discouraged due to steep canyon roads. Guests may also park vehicles at a lower staging area and shuttle into the property when conditions require.

In summer, the lodge serves as a perfect basecamp for Bear Lake adventures and alpine hiking. In winter, snowmobilers and adventurers can ride directly from the property into the surrounding mountains.
