Two Moose Inn (Sleeps 14)

We stayed at Two Moose Inn for 2 nights. Our entire family stayed comfortably there and we enjoyed every minute of it. Do yourself a favor and watch the sunrise from the front porch. The deer joined us in the evenings while gathered as a family on the side porch.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property.

We loved the house, hot tub, views, and fire pit, but the pans were so dirty that they started smoking when we tried cooking pancakes. We had to go buy steel wool to clean them in order to use the pans. I recommend getting new pans for the house! We had to borrow from a neighbor.

We were able to have a lovely family getaway at this beautiful cabin! We absolutely loved the Two Moose Inn. It was clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location with amazing views. It exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t recommend this property enough!

My wife and I, with our 4 children, their spouses, and our two grandsons, had a fantastic time at this beautiful place. The cabin was stunning in design and the facilities were perfect. We appreciated the bbq and the well-stocked kitchen. The views of the lake were perfect. And it was so quiet!!

The place is nice. The beds are comfy. Even though it was rainy and cold so we couldn't go to the lake, we other things around the area. We did enjoy the hot tub.

A few suggestions, they need to put a curtain in the main floor bathroom window.The handle on the freezer door needs to be fixed as it kept coming off. They definitely need to invest in a new kitchen stove. I tried to called the property manager many times with no answer and no way to leave a message.

Would we stay here again? Maybe if things were fixed and we didn't have as many people. With it being too rainy and cold to be outside it was a bit cramped with 11 adults and 4 rambunctious little boys.

Lovely view. Great location, close to lake and Garden City. We had 9 people, it was a bit tight. Downstairs bathroom needs window covering. Appreciated having A/C, it worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

Need new pans (even super greasy foods were sticking) and coffee machine worked poorly. Only provided 4 wash clothes and 4 coffee cups for 8 people:< and they claim it accommodates 14....with 4 clothes and 4 cups. only 8 towels.

We were able to have a small family reunion that’s to this place. The property overlooks some fields that deer come in at dusk to eat and drink. We enjoyed watching them as we played games on the deck.

We needed a change of scenery from our day to day life. It’s probably more popular to visit in the summer but our couple of nights in the middle of winter was just as magical. It was super cold and windy which made the cabin feel that much cozier and fun for us. Lots of air hockey and card games made a great way to bond as a family!

Couple of things, the dryer door did not work, and you need to list that we can’t use the fireplace. We had a fun time and we would go again thank you

-Earwig colony in mud room but not too bothersome

-A few items broken/unusable but not too inconvenient

-Could not get AC to kick on

We enjoyed our our door fire pit, rented a ski boat from the Marina, then snuggled down for a good night’s rest in comfortable beds.

Overall we were happy with our stay at the Two Moose Inn. The layout was great, and there was plenty of space for our group of 12. The location was also excellent being in close proximity to Garden City center with a great view of the lake. The beds were also super comfortable. We thought the decorations were cute and it had a cozy feeling.

Some improvements could be made in the cabin. A lot of items were broken: the handle on the bathroom faucet kept falling off, porch chairs were broken, kitchen faucet was wobbly and the hot and cold are on opposite sides, the AC struggled to keep the whole place cool, the hot water doesn’t last very long for everyone in our group to get a 10 minute shower. The air hockey table needs a touch up including a new paddle. Only one garbage bag was included and was not listed in the email as what to bring additionally. We felt it could have been a little cleaner since we found two pieces of bacon on the family room floor upon arrival. The toilet was not flushing and after calling the property manager he came over and helped us and was very kind. He also helped us when the code that was included in our email to get inside the cabin did not work. We felt that while we enjoyed our stay overall, there are some improvements that could be made to truly make this cabin “luxury.”

Wonderful place to stay at Bear Lake. Perfect location. House is clean and well maintained. Everything was as advertised. The views can't be beat. Nice quiet neighborhood. Communications with the host were prompt and acurate. We didn't want to leave!

The cabin is close to town and activities. Great quiet location. Panoramic views. Hosts were easy to communicate with. Check in and out were hassle. It was a great meeting place for our family reunion.

Great place! It had a great view of the lake! Clean, very warm and welcoming. One of the beds is perfect for anyone that likes a VERY Solid/ Firm mattress, but the other were fabulous! Would stay again. Thanks

Spencer was very helpful and communicative. The cabin is great and is a short walk from the lake. Great amenities. The thermostat/furnace wasn't working but Spencer was very helpful and we were able to fix the heat. Overall great experience for the family. Would come back.

Two Moose Inn is a beautifully open spaced cabin with spectacular views. It's conveniently located within minutes to local eateries, gas stations, and about 15 mins from Beaver Mtn and Idaho. We had a group of six here for a snowboarding trip and the cabin accommodated us with comfortably. There's also extra roll away beds and mattress's with bed sets for extra guests. There's a washer/dryer in the downstairs bathroom, game room, large tv's in each bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Spencer and Brittany were super responsive to all of our questions during our stay and check in/out was very simple. Overall, we had wonderful time and would definitely come back!

We spent a really good time here in this cabin! Definitely my favorite one. It is small but complete.

This house was extremely well kept. Plenty of space for larger groups and the view of the lake is phenomenal.

Great place to get out of the city for a bit

Take the earlier mixed reviews seriously. The location is great. There are wonderful views which we really enjoyed, however the house needs work. When we first got there we noticed a few issues. When we first walked in the home seemed musty, and we thought the heat might help take the moisture out of the air, which it never quite did. Also the faucet in the kitchen has the hot and cold reversed. This is a safety issue, but we just told the kids to wash their hands in the bathroom, and remained aware. However, the longer we stayed, the more issues we found. The was quite a bit of food in the chair cushions. The air hockey table did not work (not promised, but shown in the photos), and the drier did not work. The owners did not reply to my message about the drier. I looked back at the listing to make sure it had a drier listed, which it does, but noticed an earlier review from 2 years ago that the drier didn't work. The most concerning issue we found, which was after we had been there 2 days was that the first floor toilet had a what looked like a long term leak and there was a large piece of mold growing off the wall behind the toilet. This may have been part of the source a musty/moldy smell throughout the cabin. These issues were too big to deal while we were there (3 days). The place has potential, however this place needs some TLC. It did not meet our expectations.

We had a nice stay at this property and the location is perfect! So close to town, to the lake, to restaurants, etc. The house was comfortable for 3 of us, so it’s hard to imagine how 14 people could fit into it... everything seemed to be in working condition, to a reasonable degree, and the property managers had good communication, but the cabin itself is older and kind of rustic. The furniture was also older, in particular we were not impressed with our bed which had stiff sticky creaky springs. Because of the condition of the house and furniture, in what was advertised as a luxury vacation rental, and because of the lack of amenities at the house, we felt the property was a bit overpriced. But, we especially felt deceived about the reservations made by the property managers about cleanliness - the property did not seem like it had been cleaned top to bottom in a minute, the kitchen was greasy, there were cobwebs, and it didn’t smell like cleaning products at all, even though they told us we couldn’t check in half an hour early because they’d be spending the six hours between the previous guest’s check out time (10am) and our check in time (4pm) cleaning the place, and they charged a matching ultra-high cleaning fee. So, all in all, we probably won’t stay here again, but we had a good time anyways!

Great place on a hilltop. Great views of the lake. Large window to see the sunrise from. Deer in the fields around the house. Hot tub. Comfy beds. Games to play.

Gorgeous comfy cabin, on corner lot with open field with great view of Bear Lake - super close to Garden City or the south end Rendezvous Beach.

Great place for friends or family! The kitchen was well stocked with basic amenities and the views were awesome. Highly recommended.

Great host! I wish the beds were a little more comfortable and but other than that we had a great time. Would stay again!

This cabin was a great escape for our family and provided a fun and safe place to stay and was very private.
